Lola Olvera (she/they) is an artist and activist based in unceded Acjachemen and Tongva land (Southern California).

Her work explores themes related to anti-capitalism, generational trauma, and inner child healing.

Lola has been published by Sims Library of Poetry, CURIOUS Publishing, Calliope, and OC Pulp Zine, and has done poetry readings at UC Riverside’s Writers Week: Artists Resist, as well as with Calliope, Art Rat Theatre, Unnamed Theatre Company, and Art of Nothing Press. She has been a vending artist at OC Zine Fest, Packing House Zine Fest, and DTSA Artwalk. She was a Writing Fellow with Sentient Media, is a Planned Parenthood Community Action Fund volunteer, and is a member of Orange County Arts and Disability and Anti-Capitalism For Artists.

Lola runs on horchata, befriends alley cats, and loves paper party hats.
